Dear Brothers and Sisters in Don Bosco, 

In accordance with the directives established in Article 28 of the Regulations of our Project of Apostolic Life, I hereby communicate the official convocation of the V Provincial Congress of the Association of Salesian Cooperators of the USA Western Province. Details 

● Date: October 10th – 12th, 2025 

● Times: Friday evening thru Sunday noon 

● Venue: Mexican American Catholic College, San Antonio, Texas 

● Participants: All Local Councilors, SDB and FMA Delegates, and Provincial Council. All Cooperators and Candidates are also invited to this fraternal and formative experience. We hope for representation from all Centers and ask that you support each other in making this possible. 

● Theme: “Sparkle Our Light for Don Bosco” 

● Purpose: o Communicate the state of our Province and Centers. o Verify the growth and development of life of the Association in the Province, and continued Salesian formation. o Election of the Provincial Council according to the modalities of the Regulations of the Congress. We encourage all members to attend this important Congress meeting and participate in the decision-making process. Your presence and input are invaluable to the continued success and growth of our Association. Based on members of the Local Council in each Center, we need half plus 1 for a quorum to hold official voting - please make plans to attend in person if you are on your Local Council or a Delegate. Registration fee: $120* includes all meeting spaces, office supplies, stipends, chapel and mass supplies, t-shirt, and deposit. Housing: Single occupancy room - $90 per night, for two nights with meals Double occupancy room - $80 per person per night, for two nights with meals SDB/FMA - Accommodations will be provided. *If not staying in overnight accommodations, an additional $43 will be added to cover meals. Links on the Salesian Cooperators USA West website will provide additional information on the Congress itinerary, registration, and Provincial Council nomination forms - be on the lookout for this information. We ask the Spirit of God to animate our Provincial Congress with the charism of Don Bosco and the help of Mary Help of Christians. We look forward to seeing you there.

De acuerdo con las directrices establecidas en el Artículo 28 del Reglamento de nuestro Proyecto de Vida Apostólica, comunico la convocatoria oficial del V Congreso Provincial de la Asociación de Salesianos Cooperadores de la Provincia EEUU Oeste. Detalles 

● Fecha: 10 al 12 de octubre 2025 

● Horarios: viernes por la tarde hasta domingo al mediodía 

● Lugar: Mexican American Catholic College, San Antonio, Texas 

● Participantes: Todos los Consejeros Locales, Delegados SDB y FMA, y el Consejo Provincial. Todos los Cooperadores y Candidatos también están invitados a esta experiencia fraternal y formativa. Esperamos la representación de todos los Centros y les pedimos que se apoyen mutuamente para hacerla posible. 

● Tema: “ Enciende nuestra luz para Don Bosco” 

● Objetivo: o Comunicar el estado de nuestra Provincia y Centros. o Verificar el crecimiento y desarrollo de la vida de la Asociación en la provincia, y la formación salesiana continua. o Elección del Consejo Provincial según las modalidades del Reglamento del Congreso. Animamos a todos los miembros a asistir a esta reunión significativa del Congreso y a participar en el proceso de discernimiento. Su presencia y aportaciones son invaluables para el éxito y el crecimiento continuos de nuestra Asociación. Con base en los miembros del Consejo Local de cada Centro, necesitamos la mitad más uno para tener quórum y realizar la votación oficial. Por favor, asista en persona si forma parte de su Consejo Local o es delegado/a. Cuota de inscripción: $120 incluye todos los espacios de reunión, útiles de oficina, estipendios, y camiseta. Alojamiento: Habitación individual - $90 por noche, por dos noches con comidas Habitación doble - $80 por persona por noche, por dos noches con comidas SDB/FMA - Se proporcionarán alojamientos. *Si no se queda en el alojamiento de la casa, se agregarán $43 adicionales para cubrir las comidas.
